Day 1We arrived at Keflavik airport at 6 AM. I only slept 1 hour on the plane but the cold gave me a jolt of energy. Good thing, because we had a full day ahead of us. We took a shuttle (which we almost missed) to the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa. After a nice hot bath and shower, we headed to Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Our first day in Reykjavik was mostly getting settled and exploring the food options in the city. We ate a lot of things that day, but there were two that stood out to me, the fish pie and the rye bread ice cream. Definite must-haves.
